Dr. Robin Yabroff presented findings from the comprehensive literature review on the risk factors and incidence in relation to disparities in cervical cancer outcomes in the rural U.S. conducted by the Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University. The review explored how and if published information shed light on competing hypotheses for cervical cancer mortality disparities. Dr. Yabroff examined the information we currently have and presented what we need to know to further understand the risk factor, incidence and diagnosis and treatment pathways explaining disparities in high cervical cancer mortality counties.
